This is as bad as it gets, when your bearing fails and cost you a race. But it also has been causing some drag issues and causing some performance lost leading up to the failure
This is a front wheel center ball bearing that has failed, everytime I have any of my cars off the ground . Either jacked up or on stands, I will spin the front tires and place my finger on the spindle. If you feel any vibration in the spindle while the tire is turning you have 3 weeks to replace before Castrostrophic failure happens.
Just a habit, everytime I walk by any of my cars I spin the fronts.
